Ipswich Heritage Trails
Description
History
Three formats of heritage trails have been created since the Ipswich Heritage Program commenced in the early 1990s. The original heritage trails were a series of nine A5 sized printed booklets that contained 13 trails, created by historian Robyn Buchanan and published by Ipswich City Council.
These were succeeded by the 'Then & Now' Heritage Trails which were printed foldout glossy brochures. Content for the brochures was created by Robyn Buchanan and the graphics and layout of the brochures was prepared in-house.
Embracing technology, an audio trail was produced for Queens Park in 2013 and from 2022 a new series of online trails commenced.
